🎤 3-DAY MUSICAL THEATRE VOCAL ACADEMY

Three days of singing, acting, performance and vocal training for young people who LOVE musical theatre.
Our Musical Theatre Vocal Academy combines the fun and friendships of a holiday camp with focused training for young performers.
🎤 VOCAL TECHNIQUE & VOCAL ANATOMY
Learn how the voice actually works!
Through practical exercises, games and demonstrations, we’ll explore breathing, vocal anatomy, resonance, registers, healthy voice use and musical theatre vocal technique.
The aim is to give young singers tools they can continue using long after the Academy has finished.
⭐ 1:1 VOCAL COACHING
Every performer will have the opportunity for individual attention and coaching.
We’ll work on suitable repertoire, vocal technique, storytelling and bringing out each performer’s individual strengths.
🎭 ACTING THROUGH SONG
Great musical theatre singing isn’t just about hitting the notes!
We’ll explore character, intention, lyrics, emotion and storytelling, helping performers understand how to make confident acting choices while singing.
🎶 ENSEMBLE SINGING & HARMONY
Work together on exciting musical theatre numbers, learning how to hold your own harmony, blend as an ensemble, listen to the singers around you, follow an MD and build a full musical number from rehearsal to performance.
🎬 ACTING & SCENE WORK
It’s not all singing!
Children will take part in drama games, improvisation, character work and scene/duologue work, developing confidence and acting technique alongside their vocal training.
💃 MUSICAL THEATRE MOVEMENT & PERFORMANCE
Learn choreography and discover how to sing, act and move at the same time — an essential skill for any musical theatre performer!
We’ll work on performance quality, stagecraft and putting all three disciplines together.
🎤 SOLO PERFORMANCE
Performers will have the opportunity to work on solo musical theatre repertoire, learning how to approach a song as an individual performer rather than simply learning notes and lyrics.
It’s a brilliant opportunity for children to grow in confidence in a supportive environment.
🎭 FINAL SHOWCASE
Across the three days we’ll bring everything together ready for a final presentation for parents and families.
Children get the experience of rehearsing towards a performance while still having plenty of time throughout the Academy to experiment, learn and have fun.
⭐ WHO IS IT FOR?
The Academy is suitable for ages 7–18 and we welcome a range of experience levels.
Whether your child already takes singing lessons and wants to push their training further, is preparing for auditions and performances, or simply loves singing and musical theatre, they’ll be challenged at an appropriate level.
